My ROOM...
About Me I’m Georgia Field, 20, an art and design student, and I live at home with my parents Karen, 55, and Michael, 58, and our two labradoodles, Dexter and Duffy. We live in a four-bed Georgian house in the heart of the Kent countryside.
My challenge When we moved here in 2006, there was a gloomy lean-to made out of corrugated plastic, so three years later, we had it rebuilt. But years on, it was still being used as a junk room. I wanted to unleash its real potential and give it an injection of personality by adding new fabrics and accessories.
My wish list To create an informal dining room and living area that we could use every day. When the weather is sunny, we wanted to be able to open the French windows and all spill out onto the patio.
