Vegetable peeler Sharpie pen Clear nail varnish

Cut several branches from the garden and trim the wood to remove any shoots. Cut one end on a diagonal so that it’s easier to push into the soil. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the bark along the top of one edge and create a flat area. Leave the sticks to dry completely, which may take a few days. Use a Sharpie pen to write on the label to mark your herbs, vegetables or plants. Apply a coat of clear nail varnish over the writing to act as a protective layer. Place the sticks in each pot.
