Amy Marie Williams
about me I’m 24 and I own a three-bed house in Treharris, south Wales, with my partner Phill, 29. Which is your favourite room? It’s a tough decision, but it’s between my living room, which has a stunning fireplace that’s the main feature of the room, and my crafts room, which is such a lovely place to spend time in and be creative.
Hayley Knief
about me I’m 31 and I live with my husband Simon, 40, and our sons Oscar, 3, and Luca, 1, in a modern rented three-bedroom detached in Ilminster, Somerset. Which is your favourite room? It has to be the kitchen, as it’s a mix of all my favourite things – pastels, country cottage style, shabby chic, polka dots and personal touches.
Julie Pont
about me I’m 42 and I live in a four-bedroom semi-detached barn conversion in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, with my husband Jon, 53, and daughter Mollie, 7. What’s your latest home project? I’ve created some feature walls in my house, changed the cushions in my dining room, and we’ve just repainted the kitchen.
Edna Astbury-ward
about me I’m 57 and my husband Philip, 53, and I live in a four-bed 1930s house in Flintshire that we’ve decorated in a French style. What Would you have done differently? I wouldn’t have tried to cram my deep, deluxe roll-top bathtub and fancy towel rail into a bathroom that was far too small. They only just fitted!
Jenny Rees
about me I’m 40 and home is a three-bedroom 1930s mid-terrace in Lancing, West Sussex, which I share with my husband Simon, 41, and children Ellie, 11, and Aaron, 8. What’s your favourite shop? I really like TK Maxx for home accessories, as I can often pick up reasonably priced unusual or designer items there.
Rachel Moss
about me I’m 34 and I live in a four-bedroom semi-detached, built in 2007, with my husband Kieran, 34, and our daughter Grace, 1. What’s the last thing you bought for your home? A large statement sunburst mirror to go in our dining room, to help reflect the light around and lend a luxurious feel to the space.
