Make it! word art canvas

1 Cover your canvas with a coat of white paint and leave to dry.

2 Using vinyl letter stickers, lay out the words you’ve chosen – this could be quotes or names of places. Use a ruler to check the distance between letters is even.

3 Paint over the whole canvas with black paint, making sure all the stickers stay in position. Keep the paint thin and even.

4 When the canvas is almost dry, use tweezers to peel off the stickers. Clean up the edges of the letters if necessary.
