Make it! ladder shelf

1 Source an old wooden ladder from a car boot sale or even the shed! It doesn’t matter if it looks a bit tatty and worn – this is all part of the charm.

2 Work out where you want to hang it on your wall and fix two hooks to the wall for the ladder to rest on, each a little way in from either end.

3 Turn the ladder on its side and position over the hooks, making sure it feels secure and sturdy and is flush to the wall.

4 Once in place, use the ladder to display your favourite photos or a collection of trinkets.
