ABOUT me i’m carrie russell, 36, a store manager at scribbler cards, and i live with my husband Ben, 40, a kitchen designer, and stella the cat. We’ve lived in a four-bedroom semi-detached edwardian house on the outskirts of Leeds since 2015.

my CHALLENGE the bathroom and toilet were small separate rooms. the shower was over the bath and had a small circular shower curtain rail, which was claustrophobic. Big cupboards ate into the floor space. my WISH LIST i wanted a large walk-in shower and more floor space. i love the stylish impact of a freestanding bath so this was high on our priority list. the room design had to be sympathetic to the edwardian style of our house, too.
