ABOUT me I’m Jude Davis, 35, a brand manager, and I live in a two-bedroom apartment within a grade Ii-listed building that used to be an orphanage and school in west Norwood, London. I’ve lived here since November 2016.

my CHALLENGE at 474sq ft, the apartment was small and poky, and the dated kitchen was separate from the sitting room. My aim was to bring them together for a more cohesive vibe.

my WISH LIST I wanted a clean, sociable space that would showcase my vintage retro interior style and had already decided on an orange Smeg fridge freezer – I wanted it before I’d even bought the flat!
