ABOUT ME

i’m emily Waddecar, 26. i’m a UX designer and i live with my cocker spaniel in a three-bedroom, twenties semi in lancashire, bought in march 2017. it’s my first house and needed top-to-bottom renovating!

MY CHALLENGE

the house was almost derelict and full of spiders! there was a dining room and a tiny, dark kitchen, with mouldy walls, collapsing cupboards and a leak from the bathroom above.

MY WISHLIST

a practical, openplan space with lots of light and somewhere to entertain friends. it had to be stylish and symmetrical, with a bit of an industrial feel.
