About me I’m Sharron Blake Allan, 43. I live with my husband David, 44, and our son Elijah, 13. Our eldest son Ethan is in the Navy.

my home A three-bedroom detached house, built in 2005 in Ramsgate, Kent. We’re the first people to live in the house.

When We bought it The house was a bland, magnolia shell. There were no decorative touches and the kitchen was poorly laid out.

And now We’ve rearranged the kitchen as a sociable kitchen-diner and replaced the previous cheap bathroom with a more luxurious suite. The interiors are all grey and neutral with clean, simple lines.

Style tip It’s worth spending a bit of money on one or two wow-factor accessories to lift a room.
