Make it! Nursery hanging

1 Draw and cut out a crescent moon template on paper. Pin the template to felt or thick cotton fabric, using it as a guide to cut out the shape, leaving a 1cm seam. 2 Cut out two pieces the same and stitch together leaving an opening in the seam at the bottom. Fill the shape with wadding and sew up the opening. 3 Cut out star shapes from gold foiled card or try the Wooden star decoration, £2, B&Q. attach the stars to ribbon or metallic thread. Pin the top of the ribbon to the back of the moon shape, placing at different heights, then sew to secure.
