COME ON IN!

ABOUT ME I’m Jessica Stephens, 35, and I live in a one-bedroom flat in a Regency building in Brighton, which I bought in 2013. MY CHALLENGE My bathroom had been made by taking space from the sitting room, so it was a tiny, windowless room. It was bland, with an awful lino floor, and had no personality or imagination at all.

MY WISH LIST I wanted to make the room feel larger without having to do any major building work. I was keen to have a separate walk-in shower and bath. I also knew I wanted to add glamour with touches of gold, but I knew I’d have to be careful not to overdo it.
