ABOUT ME

i’m jessica West, 30, and i live with my husband mitchell, 32, and our house bunny, teddy, in a four-bed semi in Suffolk. We bought the house in may 2016 but it took 10 months of renovation works before we could move in.

THE CHALLENGE

to create a large open-plan kitchen-diner, where we could chill out in the evening and take in the garden views.

MY WISH LIST

i wanted bifold doors opening out to the garden. a solid oak island with a butler’s sink was also on my list – the builder was concerned but luckily we haven’t had any water damage.
