Fake tiles with clever floor paint

Get the look of encaustic tiles without the cost and hassle of ripping up your old flooring. Rust-oleum’s chalky finish floor paint is perfect for updating wood and concrete floors, as it’s hard wearing and designed to resist scratches. First, lightly sand wooden floors or wipe clean concrete. Use a large roller to apply several coats of Chalk White floor paint. Once dry, position a stencil with masking tape, then paint using a darker shade and a small foam roller. Reposition and repeat until the whole floor is covered.
