1 Start by picking out a favourite phrase, inspiring quote or even a short poem for your piece. 2 Using a computer, experiment with typing in some wording, trying fonts and font sizes to create different effects and playing around with layouts and colours. 3 Print out your work on inexpensive printer paper until you’re happy with the alignment and sizing, then swap to a slightly thicker cartridge paper or lightweight coloured card that will give a better-quality finish. 4 Frame your artwork in a simple clip frame, mounted or unmounted depending on its size.
