I’m so excited for summer this year because I’ve finally got the outdoor sofa I’ve always wanted, which means I’m all fired up to get the patio set up like an open-air living room. I’m upcycling some side tables I found in the loft (lots of things didn’t make the cut when I bought a house with my parents and we merged our stuff…), I’ve rolled out a rug (it’s woven plastic, in case of a rosé spillage!), and dug out the rain-resistant cushions I bagged in last year’s summer sale at West Elm. There’s so much gorgeous garden furniture and homeware out this year, you really can create a space as stylish as your indoor living room.
