COME ON IN!

ABOUT ME I’m Karen Moir, 44, and live here with my husband Scott Geoghegan, 44, and children Sandy, 10, Tommy, seven, and Mary, five, in an Edwardian four-bedroom detached house in Glasgow. We moved here in May 2018. The kitchen was the first room we tackled when we moved in.

MY CHALLENGE To knock multiple small rooms into one large space and add an extension overlooking the south-facing garden.

MY WISH LIST I wanted to create a kitchen that was the hub of our family home. We also wanted to connect the space to the garden.
