SPRAY PAINT A MIRROR FRAME

1 Tape cardboard or newspaper to the mirrored surface to ensure no paint gets onto the mirror.

2 Lay the mirror on newspaper outside or in a well-ventilated area. Lightly sand the frame and wipe away any dust with a damp cloth.

3 Give your can of spray paint a good shake before starting. Rust-oleum Universal Spray Paint works well and comes in a range of striking colours. Hold the can 30cm from the surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion.

4 Wait an hour for the first coat to dry, then apply another coat if necessary. Let this dry fully, then hang in your chosen spot.
