COME ON IN!

ABOUT ME I’m Natalie Mackay, 30, a homeware buyer, and I live with my husband Jamie, 34, an offshore electrician, our daughter Attica, three, and three cats. We’ve lived in our three-bed Victorian end terrace in Poulton-le-fylde, Lancashire, since February 2016 (@thepinkterrace).

MY CHALLENGE The room was damp, cupboard doors had started to fall apart and I hated the laminate flooring. Only two of us could squeeze around our little table. It was clear the layout needed a rejig.

MY WISH LIST Since a theme of green, pink and gold had emerged in other rooms, I wanted to carry this through into the kitchen. A marble table where we could eat together as a family was top priority.
