COME ON IN!

ABOUT ME I’m Katrina Thomas, 50, and I work in oil trading. I live with my fiancé Aris Baroutakis, 48, who works in the same industry, in a 500-year-old, Georgian-fronted, detached house in Surrey. We moved here in June 2015.

THE CHALLENGE This bathroom was dark and cramped until we took the plunge. The toilet was a massive wooden throne and the first thing that was banished!

MY WISHLIST I wanted the biggest, deepest bath I could find. I had a clear vision of walking upstairs to see a beautiful roll-top bath along the back wall. The room had to be far more spacious for Aris to walk about without banging his head!
