TRANSFORM A CHEST OF DRAWERS

1 To create a unique vanity unit for your bathroom basin, it’s worth investing time to find an antique piece that you love that works with the space. You may even uncover a bargain buy!

2 Having sourced your basin, cut a hole in the top of the chest for the wastepipe to go through.

3 Next, cut out a section of wood from the back of the drawers to enable the wastepipe to be connected behind the wall.

4 If the top isn’t already waterproof, use a sealant.

5 Then simply slide the drawers back in and your individual vanity unit will be ready for action.
