OUR HOME We live in a two-bed Victorian terrace in Derby which I have been renting since March 2014.

WHEN I MOVED IN It was in a good state, but had a lot of bold wallpaper and chipped magnolia paint.

AND NOW I’ve chosen a simple colour palette and warm textures to create a home that is relaxing but with a sophisticated edge.

STYLE TIP Being a considerate but savvy decorator means that I’ve kept the landlord happy while making this rental feel like home.
