ABSTRACT ART

1 Choose a canvas size and decide on your design – it can be quite simple in style and you don’t need to be able to draw.

2 Prime the canvas by painting it all white. When dry, randomly spread it with all-purpose, ready-mixed filler for a 3D effect.

3 Use sponges to dab your chosen paint colours on the canvas. 4 Add extra texture or paint layers with a sponge or paintbrush to achieve your desired finish. Leave to dry then hang.
