STITCHED TREE CARD

-

YOU WILL NEED

Black card Needle Clear tape Silver thread Glitter stars

1

Start by folding the card in half. Next find the centre of the front of the card along the top; approximately 1.5cm down use a needle to make a small hole. Then in a line, 1.5cm up from the bottom and 2cm in from each edge, make small pinholes 1cm apart.

2

Thread the needle with a long piece of silver thread. Starting at the bottom left hole, push the needle through from the inside (securing the end of the thread in place with a small piece of clear tape). Take the thread up through the top central hole, then back down through the second hole from the left.

3

Repeat the process until you have passed the thread through all of the holes. Secure it by tying on the reverse and trimming off any excess. You can now embellish the card by adding a glittery stick-on star to the top of the tree, or add more as decorations.

THIS QUICK AND EASY CARD PROJECT IS GREAT FOR USING UP LEFTOVER SPOOLS OF THREAD FROM OTHER PROJECTS
