200g frozen whole cranberrie­s, defrosted 3tbsp caster sugar

100ml port

Place the cranberrie­s, sugar and port in a saucepan and simmer for 5 mins.

Increase the heat and bring to the boil, then cook on a medium heat for 10-12 mins until the sauce is a thick consistenc­y. Allow to cool before serving.
