HANGING BEDSIDE TABLE

-

1 Drill a hole in each of the four corners of a wooden chopping board. Use a ruler beforehand to measure and then mark with a pencil the spot to drill. 2

Cut two lengths of jute rope at double the length of how low you want the table to hang. It’s a good idea to leave yourself plenty of extra length for tying the knots, which can be fiddly.

3

Fold each length of rope in half and make a knot at the middle of the two pieces of rope. 4 Thread each strand through each of the four holes and knot to secure underneath the wooden board. 5

Attach a C-hook to a ceiling stud, or use a pole like Calsey, then hang your floating bedside table using the rope.
