Ikea has launched its first smart air purifier, controlled by the Ikea Home smart app, but don’t expect to part with your money for an unsightly boxy unit. The Starkvind not only removes up to 95% of dust, allergens and VOCS from your home, but much like Ikea’s other smart technology (such as speaker lamps), the unit has been ingeniously designed so that it slips seamlessly into your room scheme. It doubles up as a side table, and has clever solutions for storing and hiding the power cable.
