Future plans

The next project that I’d like to tackle is to do more to the garden, including extending the patio, and I might add some colour-block panelling up the stairs. There’s always a space for more gallery walls too.

The only thing I’d like to change about the layout is to make the kitchen more open-plan. Someone living in the same house type on another developmen­t has knocked the wall through to the living room next door, so this is something we might consider in future. Ultimately we’d love to build our own home, but I’m sure we’ll be here for a good while longer as there’s plenty of space if we decide to have children.’
