ABOUT ME I’m Laura Yates, 33,

I sell floral gifts and homewares (@ cottagebyme, cottagebyme.com). I live here with my husband Andy, 31, who runs his own personal training business, and our son Arthur, one.

MY HOME A grade Ii-listed threebed cottage, built around 1660, in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester. We moved here in May 2016.

WHEN WE MOVED IN The cottage was a holiday home and rarely used; we had to fix everything.

AND NOW We renovated the kitchen and redecorated ourselves.

STYLE TIP I’m all about upcycling and love timeless pieces, like the two antique mirrors in our bedroom that belonged to my grandmother.
