Use... bold f lorals

Give your boudoir an uplifting feel with oversized wallpaper prints depicting big and beautiful blooms

CREATE A CAPTIVATING BEDHEAD PANEL Think outside the box when it comes to a feature wall in your bedroom and create a boutique hotel-style focal point (left). Hang a couple of drops of a striking bold floral wallpaper behind the bed for a stylish DIY idea.

ADD A FRAME TO YOUR DESIGN Make the feature roughly a foot wider than the headboard on your bed to frame it perfectly. To really ramp up the design wow factor, create neat raised edges with wooden battens, and cover them in a matching fabric.

WALLPAPER A WARDROBE Not sure about where to use wallpaper in your bedroom? How about on a wardrobe for a low-cost, high-impact solution (above). All you need is one roll to revamp the front panels. Make sure the wardrobe surface is flat, for the paper to adhere.

UPCYCLE UNLOVED ITEMS By revamping and repurposing old pieces of furniture, you’re not only saving money on buying new but you’re preventing them heading into landfill. Give your pre-loved wardrobe a lick of fresh paint before wallpapering the front panels.
