GET A SAMPLE As with any room where you’re planning to make a statement with a wallpaper, be sure to get hold of a sample of your chosen design before you buy. Cut a large sample of the design and test it out on the wall you want to decorate, to make sure you’re happy with the colour and size and scale of the pattern.

MOVE IT ABOUT Look at your wallpaper sample at different times of the day, as the colour can vary depending on the light in the room. If you’re planning to paper more than one wall or a large area, try repositioning it in different areas as this will also alter the overall affect.
