CONCRETE HEARTH

Design your hearth and work out the measurements.

Build a wood frame to infill with concrete and add mesh to create additional support for the concrete.

Slowly pour in the concrete and keep smoothing down the top with a trowel as you pour.

Allow the concrete to set, this can take up to 48 hours. Once set the wooden frame can be removed.

Sand off any rough edges and add a concrete sealant to protect the finish.
