Don’t just chuck things into your shed, but think about the things you use most often or what is most needed for the season. Lawnmowers can be stored at the back throughout winter, with rakes and brooms at the front, but come spring, swap these over. Store sharp items safely out of kids’ reach and keep everyday items like gloves and kneelers in crates under benches.
