‘To reflect the garden view and help the room feel more spacious, I converted an old Crittall window frame into a mirror by attaching pre-cut glass rectangles into each window gap with silicone sealant’

Source some pretty wallpaper or thick gift wrap, then cut out the motifs you want to use with sharp scissors (if there are any fiddly bits, use a scalpel and cutting board).

Temporarily stick your motifs into position using Blu Tack, until you’re happy with the overall look.

Water down some PVA glue by 50% in a bowl. Working one motif at a time, remove the Blu Tack and brush

Once everything is dry, take a scalpel to neaten up any edges which overlap the edge of the drawers. For durability, use a decorator’s brush to paint more PVA glue mix over both the motifs and the bare wood, ensuring any loose corners are firmly stuck down.
