1 Buy a large canvas from Hobbycraft – go for the biggest you can for your space. 2 Choose acrylic paints in three or four colours – go big and bold! 3 Paint broad strokes of colour randomly onto the canvas, building up slowly.

4 Allow it to dry, then finish by dripping on more paint to add the final flourish.
