COME ON IN!

ABOUT ME I’m Jenny Tumilty, 35, a freelance hair stylist, and I live here with my husband Kev, 36, a company director, and our children Georgina, five, and Max, two, in a six-bedroom, red-brick Victorian end-of-terrace house in Hartlepool, which we moved into in 2017.

MY CHALLENGE Making better use of the space. There’s a separate toilet next door, but in the main bathroom everything seemed crammed at the far end of the room with a big unused area by the window.

MY WISHLIST A large walk-in shower and deep bath were top of my list, along with panelling, tiling and flooring that would suit the age of the house.
