LEAF DECOUPAGE PUMPKINS YOU WILL NEED
Pumpkins Paintbrush Dried leaves
Primer White paint Decoupage glue
1 PAINT YOUR PUMPKIN
You can either decoupage onto natural pumpkins or paint your pumpkin first following the instructions for the hand-painted pumpkins.
2 ADD DRIED LEAVES
Use decoupage glue to paint a layer of glue onto the pumpkin. Then carefully press the dried leaves onto the surface.
3 SEAL WITH GLUE
Add another layer of decoupage glue over the top. The flatter the leaves the easier this will be. The glue will appear white but will dry clear.
ALTERNATIVELY, USE THE LEAVES AS STENCILS. FIX THEM IN PLACE AND SPRAY PAINT OVER THEM BEFORE REMOVING

FOLDED PAPER PUMPKIN YOU WILL NEED
Scrap paper Pencil Scissors Patterned papers Glue Small twig
1 MAKE A TEMPLATE
Take a piece of scrap paper and fold it in half. Draw half a pumpkin shape from the fold, so when you unfold it, it looks like a whole pumpkin. Cut this template out.
2 CUT OUT SHAPES
Using your chosen decorative papers, use your template to cut out 20 pumpkin shapes, or as many as you’d like. Then fold the shapes in half. Feel free to alternate colours/ styles of paper, just make sure that when you fold the pumpkin shape, the patterned side is on show.
3 GLUE TOGETHER
Glue the straight edges of the folded pumpkin shapes together, one side at a time and connect them to form a pumpkin-shaped circle.
4 ADD A STEM
Trim any edges of the 3D pumpkin that may not line up perfectly. Use a glue gun to attach a twig to the top for the stem.
EVERLASTING FABRIC PUMPKINS YOU WILL NEED
Different-sized plates Pencil Selection of fabrics Fabric scissors Thread Sewing needle Rice Toy stuffing Hot glue gun Stalk
1 CUT OUT FABRIC
Use a selection of plates in various sizes to create circular templates. Cut out the fabric using the templates, then using a strong, thick thread, create a running stitch around the outside (0.5cm in from the edge) of the circle.
2 SEW UP AND FILL
Fill the base with rice to weigh it down and toy stuffing to pad it out, slowly pull the running stitch tight as you go until all the edges come together in the centre. Secure with a couple of stitches and a double knot.
3 ADD A STALK
Use hot glue to attach a stalk to your pumpkin; you can buy craft ones online or use twigs or dried stems.
