Do it! CREATE A DIGITAL MOODBOARD

-

Try an app like Sketchup, Homebyme or Pantone Studio to help visualise how your room could look. This will help you try out ideas before committing and potentially making costly mistakes.

If you want to upload an image of your room, try Polyflor’s visualiser to see how flooring might look, while Dulux and Crown both have visualisers to try out paint colours. There’s no substitute for tester pots though, as lighting will make a huge difference and the resolution on screen is rarely spot on. It might help you narrow down which colours to test though.

It’s often helpful to start with one item you love and use that as your jump-off point. Alternatively decide on a style such as boho, mid-century modern, coastal or industrial so your room has a cohesive design language.

Review your moodboard often and discard images that don’t sit well to crystallise your style.
