BOOK CHRISTMAS TREE YOU WILL NEED

An old book Craft knife Glitter Double-sided tape

1 CUT INTO SECTIONS

Use the pages of old books to create a vintage-look table decoration. Take a section of a book and separate off the spine with a craft knife – you’ll need at least 20 pages.

2 FOLD THE PAGES

Take the first page, and fold the leaf in half towards the spine on the diagonal. Stick into place with double-sided tape, then repeat with the other pages.

3 ADD GLITTER

Glue

Gather the edges together and paste with glue. Sprinkle with glitter and allow to dry. Then fan out and pop on a plate.

DOME CENTREPIECE YOU WILL NEED

Wrap boxes in coordinating paper and ribbon. Stack up inside your glass dome, using double-sided tape to secure, then set on a shelf to create a festive display.

JAM JAR VOTIVES

YOU WILL NEED

Jam jars Glitter Liquid glue Tape Twine Christmas ornaments Tea lights

1 TAPE OFF THE BOTTOMS

Recycle old glass jam jars to use as festive votives. Simply tape off a section of glass at the bottom of each jar, then cover with glue and dip into a bowl filled with glitter (use a different colour for each). Turn upside down and leave to dry.

2 FILL WITH SAND

Once dry, remove the tape. Fill the jars with plant mica or sand and pop a tea light inside. Dress the outside with Christmas decorations tied on with twine.

3 SUPERSIZE THEM

To add extra wow, try dipping a large glass vase in glitter and adding sand and a pillar candle inside to make a supereasy table centrepiece.
