Holly, 37, been praised for her work stepping into Ant’s shoes while he recovers from substance addiction, with 11 million viewers tuning in to watch her debut.

A source in the jungle said: “The three of them have a WhatsApp group and are in constant contact.

“While Ant is gutted he’s not there, he’s very supportive of Holly and thinks she’s doing a great job with Dec. He texts them support, jokey banter, thoughts on campmates etc. And Holly can ask advice if she wants or needs it.”

The news came as campmates last night celebrated winning 10 stars in a bloodcurdling Sickening Sewer

task. It saw Coronation Street star Sair Khan locked inside a tunnel searching for hidden stars.

She was bombarded with an array of creepy crawlies including cane toads, cockroaches, crickets, mealworms, water dragons, huntsman spiders, mud crabs – and 200 rats.
