Seann: I’m just a hate figure now

SEANN Walsh and Katya Jones were reunited for a final dance as they appeared on last night’s Strictly live final show as he admitted he was one of Britain’s most hated men.

The comedian returned to the talent show to join 11 other eliminated celebrity contestants for a group dance set to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! – which then turns into a medley.

He was reunited with married professional dancer Katya and re-enacted their slow motion dance based on the Matrix but kept a low profile during the line up. The pair were hidden from view and not interviewed by the hosts. Speaking before the show he admitted he had “forgotten everything” but admitted Strictly has made him a hate figure.

The TV star has branded himself “the most hated comic in Britain”. Asked if his statement was accurate, he added: “It certainly feels like it.”

During his stint on the dance contest he suffered a backlash over his “kissgate” scandal with Katya which he dismissed as “a one-off, drunken mistake.” He was caught snogging dance partner Katya on a boozy night out.

It later emerged it happened while his girlfriend Rebecca Humphries celebrated her birthday at home alone.

Just days later Seann was given the boot from Strictly as viewers turned against him.

At a recent gig he poked fun at his infidelity and branded Katya’s hubby Neil “gay”.

He’s now admitted he will continue to cash in on the scandal.

The 33-year-old added: “I’m on tour at the moment and I will be talking about my Strictly experience.”
