Zoe admits nerves over Radio 2 show
PRESENTER Zoe Ball admits her “tummy is giddy” with nerves at the prospect of hosting the BBC
Radio 2 Breakfast Show for the first time tomorrow.
The 48-year-old, who replaced DJ Chris Evans, becomes the first female presenter of the UK’s most listened to radio programme.
Ball, who also presents
BBC Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two, said:
“It makes my tummy go giddy when I think about the first show. I just want to get on with it right now. I can’t quite believe it’s happening.
“I just hope I can do a show Britain wants to wake up to.”
Ball was the favourite to host the show after fighting off competition from BBC DJ Sara Cox.
Radio 2 Breakfast Show, tomorrow at 6.30am.
