FURIOUS Dean Smith branded his Villa side’s defeat as the worst of his career as a manager.

Goals from Gary Roberts, Michael Jacobs and Joe Garner (right) left Villa with one league win in seven games and way off the pace in the promotion stakes.

Smith said: “That performance was rubbish. That is the bottom of my career in management. The window is there for us to bring players in and I expect to do so.”
