Royal cleric: Referendum bred racism
THE QUEEN’S Chaplain says she has suffered unprecedented racist abuse since the Brexit referendum.
Jamaica-born Rose HudsonWilkin, 58, said “an unpleasantness” had developed after the 2016 vote.
She said she believed the divisive nature of the debate contributed to the murder of MP Jo Cox by a Right-wing extremist.
Prebendary Hudson-Wilkin is also chaplain to the Speaker of the Commons, the first woman and black person to hold the position.
