‘Angel’ saved me says Sophie
ENDEAVOUR actress Sophie Winkleman says she owes her life to the “angel” who stayed with her after a near-fatal car crash, writes Pam Francis.
Sophie, 38, married to Prince Michael’s son Lord Freddie Windsor, was comforted by a man who covered her with his jacket after the late-night accident in Cambridgeshire that left her with spinal injuries.
The mother of two, sister of Claudia Winkleman, told today’s S Magazine: “He was magnificent. We are in text contact but I don’t think either of us are 100 per cent ready to meet up yet.”
