Don’t forget crash pilot

I have never written to a newspaper before but was so cross when I read Anne Diamond’s piece (February 10) about footballer Emiliano Sala.

As sad as it is that he has died in such terrible circumstances, and we all feel for his family, what about the family of the pilot who was flying him to the UK?

They have not got the closure of a body to bury and, as the search has been called off, may never have this comfort. The least she could have done was mention that he was still missing and send condolences to his family.
