Keep cars off footpaths
What an uncaring, selfish prig your correspondent Matt Adams appears to be.
In his letter he seems to express the belief that wheelchair users and the blind are somehow second-class citizens who should be grateful that people who park their cars on footpaths leave some room for them to pass.
The belief that it is not a problem to inconvenience footpath users, while it is a problem to inconvenience car drivers, is all too prevalent today.
It is nothing more than anti-social behaviour to park cars on the footpath and it is high time the police started to take action against offenders for obstructing the highway. Christopher Humphreys,
