Bloodshed on the streets in another night of violence...

SEVEN people were stabbed in the space of three hours across Britain in another night of bloodshed.

Two 16-year-old boys were found with knife injuries outside Barking station, east London, at about 6pm on Friday.they were taken to hospital and the injuries are not thought to be life threatenin­g. A teenager was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

At about 7pm two men, aged 19 and 21, were stabbed in Shepherd’s Bush, west London. The victims were taken to hospital and both were in a stable condition yesterday.

At the same time, a man in his 20s was stabbed multiple times in a car in Anfield, Liverpool. He was sitting in a Ford Fiesta when he was attacked and left with multiple puncture wounds and cuts to his body and face. House-to-house inquiries were under way yesterday. Detective Inspector Jennie Beck said: “I would ask anyone who was in the area around Redcar Street this evening who saw anything suspicious to contact us.”

At 8pm, a man in his early 20s was discovered with stab wounds in Beckenham, south-east London.

Then, at 9pm, in Horsham,

West Sussex, a man was taken to hospital after being stabbed outside The Lynd Cross pub.

Another man was arrested.

Thursday after he was stabbed to death in the stairwell of a block of flats in Enfield, north

London. He managed to get himself to hospital but later died. A Met Police spokesman said: “A post-mortem examinatio­n will be scheduled in due course.at this early stage there have been no arrests.”

Later that day, a man later suffered multiple stab wounds after he was attacked in Selhurst, south-east London around 9.25pm.

And earlier in the day officers were sent to north London after another man, 21, was stabbed in the street in Muswell Hill at 1.40am, leaving him in a critical condition.

Later on Thursday, a 12-year-old girl who was out trick-or-treating was left seriously injured after being hit by a car that was shot at on Merseyside.

The force said a man had been shot at while driving a black VW Golf in Croxteth, Liverpool, at 7.50pm.

The car then collided with the girl. She was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life threatenin­g.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested.

Shortly after the incident, a man went to hospital with a non-life threatenin­g facial injury.
