Allplants’ Europe bid

-

VEGAN frozen ready meals group Allplants is poised to expand into Europe, according to co-founder Jonathan Petrides.

He said that Allplants is targeting Germany, The Netherlands,

Belgium and the Nordic nations next year.

The meals will be produced in its state-of-the art production kitchen in London then shipped overseas.

To further its expansion plans, the company is looking at bringing in business partners.

“The plan is for Europe and beyond, but in order to do it properly we’ll be looking bring on board new partners, both for finance and experience,” said Petrides. “The problem is that it is easy to overextend yourself, so we will be patient and methodical.”

Last September Allplants raised £7.5 million from venture capital groups Octopus Ventures, Felix Capital and Otiva and others, as well as high net worth individuals.

The money was used to built its North London production kitchen.

Petrides and his brother Alex founded Allplants in 2017.

Customers order boxes of six meals at a time, either as a one-off delivery or on a subscription basis.
