Subs crisis leaves Howe with 10 men
BOURNEMOUTH ended up with 10 men after using all their substitutes in a 2-0 defeat at Brighton.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe (below) said defender Jack Stacey “had no choice” other than to come off through injury.
The full-back left the field with 10 minutes remaining after suffering a hamstring problem.
Howe said: “Jack wasn’t getting better, so he risked probably pulling that muscle and putting himself out long term.”
Bournemouth had previously lost Joshua King to another hamstring issue. He was replaced by Lewis Cook after 73 minutes at the Amex Stadium.
