Green for go on Bol’s growth plan
BOL, the fast-growing vegan convenience foods group, is raising millions of pounds of fresh finance to power expansion plans, founder and chief executive Paul Brown has said.
The group is raising millions from its existing investors, which include the founders of smoothies group Innocent, to help it expand into Europe, hire more staff and develop new breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. Over the next year-and-a-half, Bol plans to more than double its annual sales to £50 million, Brown said.
“We’re injecting growth capital into the business. It should be wrapped up in a few weeks,” he added.
